Townsville Views Flute Quartet Opus 1
This is a three-movement composition that reflects iconic locations in the city of tropical north Queensland, Townsville. The first movement reflects on a prominent viewpoint, Castle Hill, and musically describes people ascending and descending the hill. The second movement focuses on a location just below Castle Hill, Queens Gardens and takes the listener through the rainforest section, the rose garden, and the aviary. The third movement takes the listener to Cape Pallarenda with people enjoying the view of Rowes Bay with wind surfers scooting alongside the shoreline whilst enjoying a picnic.
