Studies of Metre for Solo Piano No. 1 (Rise and Shine)

This piece is in 4/4 and based on George Russell's Lydian Chromatic Theory includng the harmonic and chordal structures. It is meant to evoke watching a sunrise on a beach in North Queensland.
